12/05/10 Yorktown won all seven of its matches to repeat as champions at the Ron Sauer Memorial Tournament in St. Louis, Mo. The Tigers (13-0) defeated Belleville East (Ill.) 60-9, Northwest (Mo.) 49-21 and Whitfield (Mo.) 46-19 on Friday. Yorktown then beat Kirkwood (Mo.) 67-9, Zumwalt West (Mo.) 47-22, Seckman (Mo.) 42-28 and Whitfield 42-30 in a rematch for the championship Saturday.

Reginald Hicks, Junior, 23, of Lake St. Louis is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female student from Zumwalt West. Catching on

08/11/09 There were three catchers on Fort Zumwalt West's roster in 2008, and none of them was Zach Loraine. Loraine, a junior in 2008, didn't make the cut as the Jaguars used Seth Donaldson and Taylor Holman behind the plate. Donaldson and Holman were fine catchers and played well for the Jaguars, but Loraine was left wondering if he'd ever make the varsity cut.
