06/17/11 The Region 3 Skeet and Sporting Clays Championship was held this week at Montlake Classic Clays. Region 3 consists of teams from Soddy Daisy High School, Walker Valley High School, Monroe County, Sale Creek Middle and High School, and Cumberland County.

10/14/10 Two weeks after a gruesome-looking injury to the index finger of his throwing hand, Cleveland High School junior quarterback Chad Voytik was back on the field last Friday, throwing for 152 yards and two touchdowns on 8-for-10 passing as the Blue Raiders defeated Walker Valley 42-0.

04/25/10 Unicoi County will announce Joshua Epperson as its new head girls basketball coach at a press conference Monday at 10 a.m. Epperson has been the head coach at Cumberland County for the past three seasons. Last year's team went 16-15, losing in the Region 3-AAA quarterfinals to Walker Valley.
