06/14/11 FORT KNOX, Ky. (WHAS11)-  It is a big milestone for the U.S. Army. On Tuesday, Ft. Knox soldiers in Afghanistan took some time to celebrate the 236th birthday of the United States Army. In addition to the cake, 10 soldiers were honored in a reenlistment ceremony, as they extended their service obligations. These soldiers are from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team based out of Ft. Knox.
