The program started last week and will take place Wednesdays throughout the school year.
05/02/10 The Strawberry Park/Steamboat Springs Middle School Carnival is May 20 through 23 in the Meadows Parking Lot. The carnival runs from 5 to 11 p.m. May 20 and 21 and noon to 11 p.m. May 22 and 23.
01/27/10 The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is planning a middle school musical. Auditions will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Steamboat Springs Middle School choir room. All middle school students who want to perform must come prepared with a 30-second or one-minute song. Students can sing a cappella or with a CD accompaniment.
10/04/09 The first rehearsal of the Yampa Valley Community Band is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Steamboat Springs Middle School. The group will be open to all musicians who have some level of playing experience and will rehearse from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, band organizer Mark Rasmussen said.
