Livestock truck overturns

09/18/09 A semitrailer carrying an unknown number of market hogs tipped on its side at 11:30 a.m. Friday when the driver turned too quickly onto the on ramp of U.S. Highway 20 at U.S. Highway 169 and the load shifted. Fountain illusion gets student to state fair

08/13/09 Robert Blackburn must have did something right with his 4-H entry this year because for the first time he has a project on display at the Iowa State Fair. The 15-year-old from State Center made a watering can fountain that creates the illusion of water coming from nowhere. He got the idea from an uncle who made a similar project.
