Bakers add sweet to St. Rose of Lima's carnival

07/09/11 Twenty-six colorful, creative cupcakes were served to 10 judges (plus one extra in case of a tie) in a cupcake competition at Simi Valley's St. Rose of Lima's annual carnival. Entries were open to the public. Each baker was required to make 24 cupcakes, 12 for the judges and 12 to sell, along with the other baked goods in the Sweet Tooth Booth.
