Killer Bees Announce New Ownership

06/09/11 TEMPE, AZ (June 9, 2011) - In a press conference at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas on Thursday morning, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees announced that they will be a participating team in the Central Hockey League (CHL) for the 2011-12 season.

05/25/11 HIDALGO- The offices of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees remain closed after the team's payroll was missed last week.  General Manager Dan Belisle says the team is not folding, but trying to sort out ownership issues.  More pressure could be applied on the Bees later this week.  A report out of Illinois claims teams must commit to CHL play by Friday for risk being excluded from the 2011-12 ...
