Plans to open in August

07/06/11 The new 150-bed, three-story residence hall at Trinity Valley Community College is entering the home stretch as workers labor diligently in the 100-plus-degree heat.  TVCC Public Information Officer and Publication Editor Jennifer Hannigan said the plan at this time is to have the facility open at least during the last two weeks of August.

Wildfire burning in Carolina Forest

07/03/11 Horry County Fire Rescue crews are on the scene of a wildfire in Carolina Forest. HCFR Public Information Officer Leslie Yancey says they received a call about the fire at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Officials say so far 200 acres have burned.
