04/02/11 The Bulldogs baseball team hardly had to sweat on Friday. Using an 11-run sixth inning, New Waverly pounded Trinity for 14 hits and beat the Tigers 19-1 in a game that was shortened to six innings because of a 10-run mercy rule. Chase Cooper went 4-for-5, including a home run, and drove in six runs.
