Rhodes, Cochran win West Kentucky Open

08/09/10 Josh Rhodes defeated Chris Griffin in a two-hole sudden-death playoff to win the amateur division of the 2010 West Kentucky Open. Rhodes shot a final round 68, Griffin fired a 69 to both finish at 8 under par to force the playoff.

Racers sign two junior college players for 2010-11 season

04/23/10 Murray State added to their 2010-11 recruiting class by adding a pair of junior college transfers. Jeff Reese from Gulf Coast Community College and Brandon Garrett from Indian Hills Community College join high school signees Shawn Jackson and Chris Griffin in the Racers recruiting class.

New surgeon joins practice

08/05/09 D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital will welcome a new surgeon next week. Dr. Charles Lovelady will join Dr. Thomas Boshell and Dr. Craig Peterson at Surgical Associates of South Alabama, located at offices on Elliot Street, said Chris Griffin, administrator at the hospital.
