01/12/10 By Bernie Delinski, Staff Writer The American Red Cross declared Monday there is a major need for donations of Type O-negative and Type B-negative blood. Evan Duffy, communications manager for Alabama and Central Gulf Coast Biomedical Services, said amounts have dipped to "emergency levels" for the blood types.
