03/23/10 A National Guard quick response team stationed in Hickson answered a call from the Bob Schmidt farm just southeast of Kindred. A section of a clay levee had washed out. The buildings were high and dry, but water was flooding a low area of the hobby farm where Schmidt keeps many of his animals. <
