12/18/09 Tammy Irene Gorman, who was also known by the name Lange, born June 3, 1967 in Los Angeles, passed away on Dec. 5, 2009 peacefully at home, as she wished, in Palm Desert with family by her side. She grew up in Banning and attended Banning High School.

10/28/09 banningBusted pipe leaves school without water Banning High School was without running water at least part of Tuesday, the result of a busted pipe. Bottled water was delivered to the classrooms. "All students have access to water," Principal Felicia Adkins said mid-day. Portable restrooms equipped with hand sanitizer were brought onto campus.
