07/08/11 Mountlake Terrace recently welcomed its newest reserve officer, Justin Mettler. He was administered the oath of office by Police Chief Greg Wilson at a City Council meeting June 6. The chief described him as enthusiastic and dedicated.

Hawks have talent, lack experience

07/07/11 Mountlake Terrace coach Nalin Sood wanted his basketball team to play as many games as possible in the offseason. The Hawks return only a couple of players with any significant varsity experience and graduated seven seniors.

Dooley, Linton anchor Mavericks

07/06/11 New Meadowdale coach Andy Streit and his boys basketball team barely had time to come up for air this summer. In addition to playing in the Mountlake Terrace Summer League, the Mavericks have participated in four tournaments and wrapped up the offseason at the Central Washington team camp.
