11/25/09 Jordan Overstreet, Noah Brandemihl and Brock Steingruber of Three Forks were recently named to the Class B all-state football team. Overstreet is a quarterback/linebacker, Brandemihl is a linebacker/offensive lineman and Steingruber played defensive back and running back.

    06/27/11 A man escaped Sunday from Three Forks Regional Jail in Beattyville and is considered dangerous, said Chris Lanham, spokesperson for the Kentucky State Police.

    07/07/11 A stretch of Highway 2, outside Three Forks, is now officially "Trooper David DeLaittre Memorial Highway". DeLaittre died December 1, 2010 in a shootout with 56 year-old Errol Bouldin after a routine traffic stop.

    Man given 120 years in prison for grisly MT murder

    07/13/11 BOZEMAN- A Three Forks man who was found guilty of deliberate homicide in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend was sentenced in Gallatin County District Court today by a judge who said her decision was for the safety of the public.
