Central girls win fourth straight LVC title

02/18/11 Haley Smith's three-point play with 2:05 to go regained the lead for Central Catholic, and the Vikettes held on for a 26-25 win over Nazareth in the Lehigh Valley Conference girls basketball final to give them their fourth straight league championship.

Illinois Gymnastics Club first at Effingham

03/04/11 Illinois Gymnastics Club of Olney placed first out of 33 teams at an AAU/USTA Tumbling and Trampoline Competition held February 5-6 in Effingham. The team, which is coached by Haley Smith, Catherine Lacey, Meika Lacey and owners Kelly and Donna Henby, earned 36 first-place finishes, 22 second places, 14 third places and 12 fourth places.
