01/07/10 SEATTLE----Due to recent reductions in compensation from the State of Washington to pharmacies filling DSHS/Medicaid prescriptions, Bartell Drugs will discontinue filling Medicaid prescriptions at 15 of its 57 stores, including 12 in King and 3 in Snohomish county, effective February 1, 2010.

Sammamish Bartells will stop filling Medicaid prescriptions

01/08/10 As of Feb. 1, the Bartell Drugs store at at 526 228th Ave. NE. in Sammamish will no longer fill DSHS/Medicaid prescriptions. Bartells blame their change in operation on the state of Washington's unwillingness to better compensate pharmacies who fill these prescriptions.
