    07/01/09 Billy Moon, University pitcher/outfielder and Greater Spokane League MVP was named to the Washington sportswriters 4A All-State Baseball first team. Compiling the spring all-state teams for voting in baseball, softball and soccer is coordinated by Rene Ferran of the Tri-City Herald and chosen by high school sportswriters throughout the state.
