After 30 years of debate, the new Mississippi River Bridge breaks ground

02/26/10 After 30 years' worth of debate and delays, the new Mississippi River bridge officially becomes a reality with a groundbreaking ceremony set for 12:30 p.m. today on the Eads Bridge. Many dignitaries are scheduled to be on hand, including U.S. Tranportation Secretary Ray LaHood.

Byram honored for smart growth planning

06/15/11 BYRAM -- Byram was the proud recipient of a 2011 New Jersey Future Smart Growth Award, one of eight municipalities to be recognized for its sound land-use practices at the 10th anniversary Smart Growth Awards Celebration held recently at the Newark Club.
