Front Porch: Salmon dinner at Camano Senior Center

06/23/11 A salmon barbecue is planned on Camano Island. The annual event is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Camano Senior and Community Center , 606 Arrowhead Road.

North County update

07/01/11 A mostly new $1.8 million Terry's Corner Fire Station is under construction and is being built on its old foundation. The funding comes from a bond approved by voters in the Camano Island Fire and Rescue District in 2007, as well as from state and federal grants.
