    BNSF earnings down in 2009 4Q

    01/25/10 Fourth quarter 2009 earnings for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. were down slightly compared to the same period of 2008. Freight volume for the quarter was down about 12 percent from the fourth quarter of 2008, primarily due to the recession.
