02/03/11 Snohomish Parks Foundation is inviting volunteers to work on the city's trails Feb. 19. Volunteers are needed to remove weeds and plant native, sustainable species of trees and plants along the Centennial Trail and in Pilchuck Park, and to work on the Riverfront Trail.

North county update

05/30/11 The state has allocated $110,000 for the Legion Park visitor's center and Centennial Trail trailhead, city officials reported Thursday. "The project will be constructed downtown this summer," city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said. "We have plans already submitted and permits ready to be issued."
