    Icy conditions cause fatal crash north of Huntington

    12/14/09 A Washington woman died after she lost control of her car on the icy freeway Saturday afternoon and was struck by a semi-truck traveling behind her. Oregon State Police Sgt. Darin Helman said Jenna Lee Ulrich, 22, of Sammamish, Wash., died at the scene, about five miles north of Huntington.

    Northern border funding is in bill

    12/14/09 WASHINGTON, D.C. - Funding for northern border law enforcement is included in the fiscal year 2010 Consolidated Appropriations Act. Evan Miller, an aide to Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said the bill includes $3 million to support local governments in their prosecution of border-related crimes.
