    01/19/10 The Mercer Island Thrift Store, in the 7700 block of S.E. 34th Street, was burglarized during the night of Jan. 4. Items stolen included $560 in bills and change. The thief gained entry by breaking a side window and placing a chair underneath to climb inside.

    Tacoma Rainiers Release 2010 Schedule

    01/19/10 Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Rainiers have released their 2010 season schedule, which includes a home opener against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, eight home games vs. Northwest rival the Portland Beavers, and an April 10th S.H.I.E.L.D. night, with single-game ticket proceeds benefitting the Lakewood Police Independent Guild.

    Police ID man found in Lake Coeur d'Alene

    01/19/10 COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho. - Coeur d'Alene police are investigating how the body of a 76-year-old man ended up in Lake Coeur d'Alene. The man's body, which has been identified as that of Ira Loudenback, was seen by a couple walking their dog in the Sanders Beach area Tuesday morning.
