07/25/10 SUFFOLK Wind gusts have pushed the wildfire in the Trumpet Drive area to spread to another 10 acres, a city news release said. The fire began July 5 and firefighters and the Virginia Department of Forestry have been battling the blaze ever since. It has burned nearly 80 acres.

In Hampton Roads, volunteers will collect nonperishable foods at a dozen Ruritan club buildings and other sites. Donations will go to local food banks.
