07/16/11 Hundreds of people came to Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Saturday for the funeral Mass for the murdered 70-year-old priest who had led the church for the past six years.

Slain priest laid to rest

07/16/11 The body of slain priest Edward Everitt was laid to rest in Hammond, LA. A funeral was held Saturday afternoon for Father Everitt at his parish, the Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Friday night, hundreds turned out to a visitation at the church to say their final goodbyes to the priest.
