Thought lost, tape of Va. Tech shooter's hearing found

06/25/11 By Tonia Moxley CHRISTIANSBURG An audio recording of Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho's 2005 civil commitment hearing thought to have been destroyed in 2009 has been found, a court clerk said Friday. The recording was discovered among criminal and traffic files, not civil commitment files, Montgomery County General District Court Clerk Kim McKittrick said.

Nags Head man waives extradition in Va. on murder charge

07/19/11 CLIFTON FORGE A North Carolina man who was found with a woman's body in his trunk in Virginia will return to the Outer Banks to face a murder charge. Enrico Luciano Mascaro, 19, of Nags Head, N.C., waived extradition during a brief court appearance Tuesday in Alleghany County General District Court.
