07/21/10 A collection of scripts and memorabilia from the life of Earl Hamner Jr., a Nelson County native who wrote the long-running television series “The Waltons,” has been proposed as part of a plan to rejuvenate Explore Park, located near Roanoke and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
