State Parks Nearly Full This Weekend

07/03/11 "July fourth usually represents our busiest weekend of the season," Hamlin Beach State Park Manager Jay Bailey said. This Independence Day weekend was no exception. Thousands of people flocked to campsites throughout the state. The New York State Office of Parks & Recreation reported campsites at its 178 parks were 90-percent booked for the long holiday weekend.
