Other news01/20/10 Sen. Scott Jenkins is the Utah Senate's new majority leader. The Republican from Plain City was voted into the post on Wednesday. Jenkins replaces former Sen. Sheldon Killpack, who resigned from the Legislature following an arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. Jenkins had previously served as majority whip.
