Driver of stolen car turns out to be armed robbery suspect

05/17/11 Gulfport Police picked up an armed robbery suspect and another man after they were stopped in a quiet Gulfport neighborhood Tuesday morning. Biloxi Police officers first noticed the white car in traffic, and thought it matched the description of a stolen vehicle from Ocean Springs.

Suspect named in Florida Avenue murder

05/26/11 Gulfport Police believe a shooting Wednesday night in north Gulfport was in retaliation for Saturday's shooting death of Iszaya Mintor, who was killed on Florida Ave.  Authorities just announced the suspect in that murder is Darcell Marquis Anderson.  But, he has not been apprehended yet.

Police: Man planning hit on former girlfriend

06/28/11 Gulfport Police believe they stopped a murder for hire plot just in time. Daniel Magee, 39, is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
