06/08/11 Hey good on you Daan. It's Marty and Denali... hello Macpac and everybody following us. We finished up with Denali with the South Summit and the North Summit.

Denali 2011: Marty Schmidt - 8th & 9th Dispatch from Alaska, USA

06/06/11 It's the 30th of May and we got down from or high camp [inaudible...] ...it's flat and beautiful. Today is a rest day... we went up and climbed roughly 2,000 ft and had a wonderful ski down... champagne powder. Tomorrow we're going to leave early in the morning for the North Summit.

Car accidentally slams into Sears building Tuesday afternoon

06/15/11 A car slammed into the Sears building on North Summit Street and broke through its south wall on Tuesday afternoon. No one was injured in the accident, but a shopper in the store narrowly escaped injury as the front of the car poked through a dishwasher display, a store employee said.
