MAW looking for donations and volunteers

04/25/11 The Museum of the American West is a living history museum on the west end of Lander behind the Fremont County Pioneer Museum. We are looking for donations of old blacksmithing tools, chaps, stirrups, spurs, saddles, lariats, traps and other items dealing with early mining, trapping, ranch farm life in Fremont County from 1860's to 1930's. Greve returns to head Pioneer Museum

05/27/11 Rachel Jordan Greve is coming home to Pike County as director of the Pioneer Museum of Alabama. Greve, a Brundidge native, will take the museum reins on July 1. She is presently director of the Brenham Heritage Museum in Brenham, Texas where she lives with her husband, Brian.
