Swanson will plead guilty to 2nd Iowa clerk slaying

07/05/11 ALGONA - A teenager accused of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in Kossuth County is expected to plead guilty to the crimes this afternoon during a hearing in Algona. Michael Swanson, 18, of St. Louis Park, Minn.

Swanson gets life, twice

07/07/11 Sheila Myers and Vicky Bowman-Hall were both wives, mothers and friends of others. On Nov. 15, 2010, both of their lives were cut short when Michael Swanson, 18, of St. Louis Park, Minn., killed each one in cold blood.

Swanson will serve two life sentences
