06/27/11 East Greenwich High School sophomore Marina Palumbo was honored as a Distinguished Finalist in the 2011 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program for raising $4,100 through "Rays for Restaveks," a nonprofit organization she founded to help build a school in Haiti for abused children.
