06/15/11 SPARTA -- The Township Council is not in favor of a state Senate bill that would expand the role of New Jersey's Open Public Meetings Act. Instead, the council wants local legislators to draft another bill to amend the Open Public Records Act that would allow municipalities to not provide requested documents, if the documents can be downloaded on a government website.
