Huett pitches Northwest to series win over Lincoln

05/01/11 Northwest Missouri State scored four runs in the top of the first inning and shutdown the Lincoln offense the rest of the way on Sunday as the Bearcats won 5-1 to win the final three games of the series with the Blue Tigers.

Lincoln High's Smith wins triple jump at Heartland Conference meet

05/04/11 Nakuya Smith won the triple jump at the Heartland Conference meet Wednesday with a leap of 36 feet, 8 inches in the wind at the Beechner Athletic Complex. That's more than a foot behind her season-best of 37-8 ? -- which is the Links' school record and third overall in the state this spring.
