Alley Theatre to Stage Joe DiPietro-David Bryan Musical and Theresa Rebeck Premiere in 2011-12

05/10/11 The world premieres of Theresa Rebeck's What We're Up Against and Elizabeth Egloff's Ether Dome, and the Off-Broadway musical The Toxic Avenger, from the Tony-winning songwriters of Memphis, will be staged in the Alley Theatre's 2011-12 season.

05/12/11 Summer in the city is a hot time for theater far and wide, with the Pittsburgh CLO and Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre beginning their seasons and City Theatre finishing up with the premiere of a commissioned comedy by Eric Simonson and Jeffrey Hatcher.

Making God Laugh Will Get Chicago-Area Premiere by First Folio; Season Announced

06/20/11 First Folio Theatre in Oak Brook, IL, announced a 2011-12 season to include The Merchant of Venice, Jeffrey Hatcher's The Turn of the Screw, the Katharine Hepburn bio Tea at Five by Matthew Lombardo and the Chicago premiere of Sean Grennan's new dysfunctional-family comedy Making God Laugh.
