Other news07/06/11 According to data released by the Texas Education Agency this week, more Texas high school students are qualifying for college credits, thanks to taking Advanced Placement tests.
07/10/11 This academic year, school districts across Texas will begin phasing out the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), replacing it with a new series of tests designed by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to place a greater emphasis on college and career readiness.
07/12/11 Avalon ISD has released TAKS testing results for school year 2010-11. Avalon ISD, once again, is projecting the AEIS rating from the Texas Education Agency to be that of a recognized district.
