Other news04/21/10 Every six weeks a different member of the Sibley Nature Center displays 10 photographs. At present, Nathan Taylor's photographs are on display and will remain until the May 22 rededication event.
05/12/10 On May 22 the Sibley Nature Center is hosting a program at 10 a.m. about snakes of the region. The presenter is Michael Price, the executive director of the city owned and managed San Angelo Nature Center. Price is a serious amateur herpetologist with an incredible collection of the venomous snakes of the American Southwest (and a comprehensive collection of the non-venomous species, as well).
07/12/11 As 35 Midland homeowners gathered at Sibley Nature Center on Tuesday evening for the first of two programs this week to educate on water conservation, thunder roared overhead and raindrops fell hard against the roof. Those in attendance cheered at the sound, a sound that has been foreign many in West Texas for the last 289 days. Hot themes this week:
