Annihilated/obliterated/decimated (pick one or all) by the Republican rout last November, which gave the GOP complete control of Tennessee government, the party of Barack Obama , Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Al Gore was able to label the pachyderms "teacher haters."

Payne: The lights are back on (in the House)

07/17/11 The lights are back on - in the House anyway. Now the bulb's in Harry Reid's court. The House voted Friday AM to prohibit the use of funds to implement federal light bulb standards - aka, the incandescent bulb ban.
