01/12/10 The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's inspector general's office served subpoenas to the corporate offices of Connecticut-based Webster Bank and 14 other mortgage companies across the country demanding documents and data related to failed loans which resulted in claims paid out by the Federal Housing Administration mortgage insurance fund.
