Steamboat briefs: Arts Council plans middle school musical for May

01/27/10 The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is planning a middle school musical. Auditions will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Steamboat Springs Middle School choir room. All middle school students who want to perform must come prepared with a 30-second or one-minute song. Students can sing a cappella or with a CD accompaniment.

Seven AHS musicians, singers receive state honors

01/29/10 Seven Allen High School students were named to the 2009-10 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Orchestra, Band and Choir. This recognition is the highest individual honor in the state.
