07/10/11 ROWLETT - The Rowlett Police Department briefed the city council on Tuesday, July 5, about its plan to allow off-duty police officers working for neighborhood associations to use marked police vehicles. 07/20/11 ARGYLE - School district employees will receive pay increases in September that may or may not be reflected in their paychecks. The Argyle school board has approved a $500 pay increase for employees on the teacher salary schedule and a 2 percent raise for all other district employees. Board members voted 6-0 on the proposal at Monday's meeting. 07/16/11 SOUTHLAKE - The Southlake Police Department hired three new police officers recently and Sgt. Jeremy Blackwell said the three new recruits are some of the best officers that the department has ever recruited. |
