New Police Chief Sworn In Monday

10/26/09 OHIO COUNTY, W.VA. -- Wheeling's new police chief will be sworn in Monday. Robert Matheny, a West Virginia native, comes to Wheeling from Clarksburg, where he was most recently an administrative lieutenant. Matheny served there for 24 years.

Matheny Gets His Hands Dirty

10/24/09 WHEELING - Robert Matheny was knee-deep in a muddy swamp Tuesday searching for clues in a Clarksburg, W.Va., homicide. That may be an indication of how he will guide the Wheeling Police Department when he takes over Monday as the chief of police.
