High Schools Notebook: Ribault quarterback Damien Fleming reconsiders college options

06/18/11 Ribault quarterback Damien Fleming is opening his recruitment back up. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound standout pledged to Vanderbilt in early July, but since then the Commodores have gone through two coaching changes. Bobby Johnson resigned before the season started, and Robbie Caldwell stepped down Nov. 28.

SEC Babe Ruth cruises to win

07/11/11 Bobby Johnson got things started early with a three-run homer in the top of the first inning for Southeastern Connecticut, which roughed up New Haven, 16-5, in five innings in the 16-18 Babe Ruth state tournament at Naugatuck High School on Monday.
