Franklin Square store turning into pharmacy

06/30/11 A former Auto Barn store in Franklin Square was sold for $725,000. The 7,800-square-foot building, at the southwest corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Madison Street, will be renovated to become Franklin Square Pharmacy and two small satellite stores yet to be leased. John Messineo of Island Associates in Smithtown brokered both sides of the sale.
