07/08/11 St. Thomas More Hospital is working toward putting a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program in place by the end of summer. With the hiring of STMH Medical Forensic Coordinator Shelly Brooks, a SANE nurse, also known as a Medical Forensic Nurse, the program is well on its way.

Cleves returns to N.Ky.

07/14/11 Msgr. William Cleves, former president of Thomas More College, returns this month to Northern Kentucky and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington after five years as the vice rector of the Pontifical College Josephinum near Columbus to serve as pastor of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Newport.

She stays active, happy at 105

07/14/11 When Dorothy Ries Fitzgerald was 102 years old, she and her three children took a Caribbean cruise. Her three-digit age was too much for the ship's computer system, which attempted to ban her from certain activities thinking she was a 2-year-old. On land that year, Mrs. Fitzgerald frequently served as a reader of scriptures during services at St. Thomas More Church in Bethel Park.
