06/09/11 The Tennessee Court of Appeals has ended a decade-long legal wrangle between Blount County and ALCOA Inc. over the taxation of raw materials leaving the company with a $4.1 million tax bill. The company now owes $2.1 million in taxes to Blount County and a further $2 million to the city of Alcoa. The bill covers every tax year since 2001.
