    Volleyball roundup: Roosevelt sweeps Brookings; Tea beats Chester

    10/08/10 Haley Chambers had 11 kills and Wagner Larson had eight kills and six blocks as No. 2 Roosevelt swept Brookings 25-13, 25-7, 25-11 in girls volleyball action Thursday night at the Rough Rider gym. Jordan Retzlaff had 13 digs and Siri Nelson and Kelsie Green each had three aces as Roosevelt improved to 11-1. For Brookings (2-11), Dani Selberg had six kills and Emily Smid had 12 assists.

    High School Cross Country: Redfield-Doland sweeps Northeast Conference titles

    10/08/10 WEBSTER - Redfield-Doland captured both team titles Thursday at the Northeast Conference high school cross country meet. Led by boys' individual champion Jared Noyes, Redfield-Doland scored 21 points, followed by Milbank a dozen points back.
